The Holiday eSpending report by Goldman Sachs, Harris Interactive, and Nielsen//Netratings Online offers weekly intelligence on online shopping and spending by market segment and tracked consumer attitudes and motivations that drive online shopping. The report found that consumers spent $18.5 billion during the 2003 holiday season. This represents a reported 35% increase over the $13.7 billion spent in 2002.
