How
to use Email Newsletters as Effective Sales
Tools
Email newsletters
can be effective sales tools, if executed properly. If not, they
can be more than a tremendous waste of time—they
can have negative effects on your company’s brand image. In
their purest form, newsletters offer you the ability to deliver your
message to your customers and prospects on a regular basis at a very
low cost. The big challenge lies in creating content that will motivate
prospects to open, read,
and respond to your newsletter (not to mention SPAM and deliverability
issues).
Newsletters that
simply provide a recap of the latest products and
news from the company will only be read by your most loyal
clients. To reach out and influence inactive clients and/or prospects,
you
need to provide objective information that is of value to them. Additionally,
creating a professional-looking
newsletter will add to its appeal.
When you send a well-designed and informative newsletter, you will
increase its readership and generate a substantial number of sales
leads. |
